Kelso Town Hall
Dublin Core
Title
Kelso Town Hall
Description
Kelso Town Hall provides the focal point in The Square as the civic building. It replaced an earlier tollbooth on the same site and originally had an open arcade on the ground floor.
The building was extensively altered in 1906 when the ground floor was enclosed and the cupola added to the bell tower. The interior has sumptuous Edwardian ceiling plaster and internal fittings.
