Old Gala House is a composite building which has been added to and altered over a period of more than 400 years. The house has been a museum site since 1988.�

As well as the permanent collection, there are three main spaces which cater for a changing programme of Fine Art and historical exhibitions: the Christopher Boyd Gallery; the Pringle Gallery and Cafe and the Museum Room.
