Documentation can be found at http://github/MetsExport/ Old Gala House (1) <p style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;" class="MsoNormal">The house dates from the 16th century and forms a fine example of a laird's house with extensions and rebuilding over the centuries. Originally owned by the Pringles, it was owned by the Scotts of Gala from 1632 until they moved out to New Gala House in 1872 .</p><p style="margin-bottom: 0.0001pt;" class="MsoNormal">In more recent years it has been used as a council museum and home of the Old Gala Club.
