The Police Station was built in 2006 at the rear of the grand building known as �County Buildings� which built in 1935. The station has a reception area with public front counter, offices, cells complex, storerooms and parking for police vehicles.�

There are 12 officers based at Peebles, including �Community and Locality� officers.
