Special Event:
Visit the resident artist, John Threlfall’s studio, the Rockcliffe Gallery and vacant lounges and bedrooms.

14.00-15.00 Saturday - the National Trust for Scotland rangers will also be on hand to guide you through the Wildlife of Rockcliffe on a walk from the Hotel, round the NTS meadows and up to the Mote of Mark, on which a Dark Age fort stood in the 5th to 7th century. Places on this walk are limited so please book through Solway Heritage by calling 01387 247543 or emailing doorsopendays@solwayheritage.co.uk.

Directions (DG5 4QF)
From Dumfries take either the A711 to Dalbeattie and then the A710 signposted to the Solway Coast or take the A710 coastal road direct from Dumfries through New Abbey. Rockcliffe is well signposted from the A710. Once in Rockcliffe take the road up the small hill, turn left and the entrance to Baron’s Craig is a mere 100 metres away. The hotel is well signposted in the village. Ample parking adjacent to house.
