The Palace of Holyroodhouse is the Queen's official residence in Scotland and contains many artefacts of Scottish royal history. The Queen's Gallery at the Palace of Holyroodhouse hosts a programme of changing exhibitions from the Royal Collection. The Palace was used by Mary, Queen of Scots for official and state entertaining but the Palace as it stands today was built between 1671-78. Each room has clickable info boxes that tell facts of the interior decoration. Accessibility note: Pushchair may not be taken into the palace.
