The School of Education & Social Work is based in two adjacent buildings, which were linked together in 2002. The grand Scots baronial-style Old Medical School was built by J Murray Robertson in 1902-4 while its neighbour, the French-style Carnelley Building, designed by Mills & Shepherd, was the University's first purpose-built building when it opened in 1883.

Join curator Matthew Jarron for a guided tour round the various works of art and artefacts on display around the Old Medical School and Carnelley Buildings. These include a large sculpture by Peter Randall-Page (one of only two by him in Scotland) and the school?s beautiful First World War memorial from its time as Dundee Training College.
