Dublin Core

Title

Charlotte Chapel

Description

Free St George?s Church, designed by David Bryce, was built on the corner of Shandwick Place and Stafford Street in 1869. A 56m campanile, designed by Rowand Anderson, based on St Giorgio Maggiore, Venice, was added in 1881. This is the building that the 700 strong congregation of Charlotte Chapel have refurbished and are currently using for Sunday services and midweek activities.
