Banff Primary School (Old Academy)

Description

This was originally known as Wilson?s Academy, and combined the school with the predecessor of the present Banff Museum. This is a fine classical building, with horizontal lines. It is fronted by a wide pedimented portico of six Ionic columns. The end pavilions have shallow twinned Corinthian pilasters. The building is now refitted as part of the modern Primary School.
