Delgatie Castle is a picturesque tower house situated in establish grounds dating from the 1500s with various later additions. Visitors will be able to climb one of the widest turnpike stairs in Scotland and view almost all rooms in the castle, which still gives the feel of a lived-in home. Delgatie will also be hosting NEOS on Doors Open Days, giving visitors the chance to view the work of a selection of local artists. Famously, Mary, Queen of Scots, stayed here in 1562 after the Battle of Corrichie.

Activities
Almost all of the rooms in the Castle are open for viewing. The Laird's Kitchen will be open from 10a.m. to 4p.m.
A great opportunity to see inside this amazing Category A listed Scottish Tower House.
NEOS artists and crafts people will be displaying their work on the day.
We only have disabled access on the ground floor to include the coffee shop, the shop and Yester room.
