Huntly Parish Church

Dublin Core

Title

Huntly Parish Church

Description

On truly a massive scale (seating for 1800), a huge, rough ashlar pediment-gabled rectangle with four round-arched windows and central Roman Doric pedimented doorway on each main side. The west gable has a deeply recessed central doorway with windows in arched recesses on both sides and a tripartite lunette in the pediment. The minuscule bellcote emphasises the size of the rest of this great footprint of Presbyterianism.
