Elgin Fire Station

Description

A joint project between Grampian Fire Board, Moray and Aberdeenshire Councils and designed by Aberdeenshire Council architects, Elgin Fire Station was opened in 2001 by the then Deputy First Minister, Jim Wallace. The Station provides capability with Fire & Rescue appliances but also has resources to deal with forest fires with an all-terrain vehicle, and water rescue incidents.
